Noland Orchards is a family-owned and operated farm spanning over 100 acres and home to approximately 60,000 fruit trees, including peaches, pears, and cherries. Nestled on Colorado's Western Slope, just south of the Colorado River in the region known as East Orchard Mesa, the orchard overlooks the charming town of Palisade, Colorado. The area's mild climate, unique terrain, 182-day growing season, and an average of 78% sunshine annually create ideal conditions for peach growing — earning Palisade its well-deserved nickname, The Peach Capital.
Noland Orchards began in 1966 when longtime residents Max and Sue Noland purchased 10 acres of peach trees. A year later, they expanded by another 20 acres, farming approximately 5,000 trees. Over the past 59 years, Max, his son Bryan, and now his grandchildren, Ashley and Max, have transformed the orchard into a modern agricultural operation — all while staying true to its roots as a small, family-run farm.
